This had been a favorite of ours when we made our annual trip to Indio. It closed during the pandemic.
It was recently reopened with a new owner and menu. I regret to say it no longer has a mostly gluten free or friendly menu. Jackalope was known for its barbecue. The new Jackalope had some barbecue but I found that even though their dry rub is gluten free, their house made barbecue sauce is not.
When we called, they indicated numerous gluten free offerings. In reality, the server told me that the chef indicated that there was cross contamination and he advised against eating there.
I would not think it is celiac safe.
No gluten free menu.
We will not be back.
