We dined here on a Sunday night and everything seemed off from previous visits. Our waiter seemed completely untrained for service and had no idea how to set a table, what order to serve etc. His English was really confusing and he didn't know any bar terminology. We were served food all at once and where were our drinks? A Negroni order totally screwed up. I ordered sushi and asked for GF tamari soy sauce, he was confused and brought out the jug from the kitchen to show me and poured it in a plastic dish. My meal came with soup or salad and I had to ask for salad, he said no and walked away. No? I know some Miso has gluten but salad? None of the dressing is GF so I was served a plate of raw salad. The whole thing was weird. We ordered takeout during the pandemic and it was flawless, marked and carefully packed. Management needs a rehash of your downtown location!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here for a friends birthday the other night. It’s a very nice venue and had very high hopes when the night began. When I opened the menu, however, I saw there were only 4 or 5 things labeled gluten free. I asked the server if the food would be prepared safely for a celiac. He said it would, but he brushed me off as though it didn’t really matter. I ordered cucumber nime chow and edamame as my meal, mostly because I was fairly confident there was minimal way for them to be contaminated. Both were delicious and I didn’t get sick. Ultimately, if I had another social event here, I wouldn’t have a problem eating here, but due to the very limited options, I wouldn’t choose to come back here on my own.
