The staff at Janken could not be more caring and considerate. The entire menu is GF, so 100% safe. They have a substantial, western and Japanese menu for breakfast and lunch, and on the weekends dinner as well. Love this place! Nobody does muffins better than Jankens!

Regular family meals here are lovely Entire kitchen nearly gf so easy for coeliac & they are very aware of specifics if you want to discuss. Eat here once a week & never had issues

Great Japanese cafe with really good food. Can be a bit pricey if going for dinner (which at the time of writing is only on Fridays) but otherwise is an amazing place. Have been many times.

Janken was a fantastic place for a coeliac person who loves Japanese food. Virtually the entire menu was GF (ie their core menu is GF, not adjusted to exclude gluten). And the food was a delicious combination of traditional Japanese options and imaginative variations (especially those based on tofu). Plus the entirely GF dessert menu was amazing - recommend both the chocolate cake and the tahini panna cotta.
