Review of Jay's Steak and Hoagie Joint

Jay’s is my new favorite take out spot, I’ve been going at least once a week! A huge chunk of the kitchen space is dedicated gf, the girl behind the counter was kind enough to let me take a peek to ease my mind, she was super knowledgeable and helpful! My boyfriend is non-gf and they always make sure to put our food in separate bags. I don’t know if it’s the time we go, but the service is always quick, foods always ready within 15 minutes of ordering. It is mainly a takeout place as they only have a table or two inside, but it looks like they have an area outside with more seating for when the weather gets nice! Everything is absolutely delicious and I feel 100% safe eating here. Ps. Jay’s is known for their pretzel roll (not gf), which from what I understand is pretty bangin, and Jay is now working on making a gf version!!! I was lucky enough to stop by on a day he was experimenting and was able to have a sample. Best gf roll EVER and I hope they add it to the menu as a permanent item!
