Review of Jay's Steak and Hoagie Joint

Amazing!!! I don’t know the last time my husband who has celiacs was able to have a real cheesesteak...this place is worth the trip no matter where you’re from. So fresh, so delicious. I’ve had both the regular cheesesteak and the gluten free buffalo chicken cheesesteak and was not disappointed! The fries are incredible too - fresh and hot and not greasy at all. We will be regular customers for sure!

**update on 11/11/2019 - Absolutely love this place! Worth the drive from wherever you may be. My husband suffers from celiac disease and to be able to find an establishment that serves a gluten free authentic Philly cheesesteak is unheard of. We've visited 5 or 6 times now and it does not disappoint! We've had the cheesesteaks on pretzel rolls and regular rolls, the cheeseburger fries and standard cheese fries, the cheesesteak salad and the wings. Everything is incredible, flavorful and well-made. Best of all, we tested the wings and cheesesteak with the Nima sensor (the digital test that detects gluten in foods) and both came back negative for gluten!

We've recently ordered party trays for our annual fantasy football draft which is held over Labor Day weekend - the guys (both celiac and non-celiac) were able to enjoy hoagies, cheesesteaks, wings and fries. All of the guys kept asking where the food was from - they loved it so much! The presentation of the trays was so well put together and easy to transport. Jay had an issue with one of the supplies that weekend but worked with me and assured me that my order would be ready to go! We will definitely be doing that again. I would even consider having a big backyard party just so I could rent the food truck!

Jay is a great person and business owner - always giving back to the community and putting his heart and soul into what he does day in and day out. Highly recommend for all!
