To eat here gluten free isn’t easy. All the employees are teenagers and know nothing about gluten free. Talked with the manager and pretty much everything they cook touches gluten. They have gf toast, waffles, potatoes eggs. I had an omelette and definitely got cross contamination. They are not helpful to someone that can’t eat wheat. I would avoid especially if your celiac.

Servers are all young not knowledable about gluten allergy. All waffles cooked on waffle maker. Toast all cooked together. They offer to cook potatoes on a gluten free skillet but it will add 45 mins to the cook time.

My food came mixed up with my friends with a biscuit.
Only offer GF toast.
GF Waffles are made in the same pan as the wheat waffles.

The staff was very knowledgeable and the kitchen was great. They even have a separate toaster for the gluten-free bread. They warned me that the waffles were “gluten-friendly” not “gluten-free”. This is my new favorite breakfast place.
Yes
They are EXTREMELY knowledgeable!! They even listed every single ingredient for the corned beef hash. Dedicated toaster. Waffles are made in the same iron as gluten but they made that very clear.

Great place to eat breakfast! If you want to enjoy a quiet breakfast then eat at lunch time! They were very accommodating with both a gluten free and dairy free allergy. I had an omelet, potatoes, and toast. They were allergy aware and cooked my food in oil rather than butter that has dairy in it. Try it out!! Much better than fast food!!!

Staff was so kind and helpful and not at all annoyed by my questions. The manager brought me the package of grits so I could see for myself the ingredient list. I had bacon, cheese grits, and gfree toast. They have a separate toaster just for gluten free bread. I highly recommend this place!
They are very willing to sub out things for bread at breakfast. I usually have the Goat omelette (sundries tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and goat cheese) with grits and sub slices tomatoes for the bread. Yummy! I have not tried any of the lunch items.

GF menu is reversed - tells you what has gluten. Very accommodating, asked them to prepare in clean pan with clean utensils. Have Udi's bread.
Yes
finally! gf alternatives. toast and waffles. yum!

Have been eating breakfast meals here for years and have always had excellent service and accommodations for having Celiac disease. There isn't a dedicated menu but it's not hard to pick standard menu items and adjust for wheat.

Sadly no gluten free options and after checking with the kitchen was told everything would be prepared on shared griddles and surfaces.

Had an omelette and breakfast potatoes that were delicious! Website stated they had GF bread but upon arrival they did not have it. Server was knowledgeable about gluten free diet. Best omelette in town!

If you don’t have celiac or severe allergies than this would be ok for you. I have a severe gluten allergy and dairy allergy and everything is cooked on the same grill. They are unwilling to put tinfoil down or clean anything to accommodate. There is “gluten free” options but they’re all cooked on as things containing gluten. They don’t have any oil, just butter. The management wasn’t helpful and was annoyed by my questions as to what I could safely eat. The waitress was kind but not knowledgeable.

Previous reviews of this place are not fairly representative of the quality.
As far as the gluten on the menu, they don’t have a separate menu. The hostess was unsure of gluten contamination questions, so she got the manager to come answer our questions while waiting for a table.
He knew all about the products containing gluten, and he was very clear about what they can make gluten free and where cross contamination could happen. From that conversation:
- they don’t do GF pancakes because of the difficulty with quality and because of the cross contamination with the other products on the griddle.
- they have GF waffles, but they don’t have a separate waffle iron. They clean it and try to prevent cross contamination, but it could happen. He was very open and direct about that.
- they have GF bread and use a dedicated toaster for it. Any hot sandwiches ordered GF will be toasted rather than put on the griddle.
We had the waffle. We aren’t celiac, so the cross contamination wasn’t an issue. The waffle was light and fluffy and was a really good GF waffle. We also had the GF toast; no complaints there, either.
Our breakfast was good. It’s not drive-across-Atlanta-for-it great, but we would come back if we are in/around Woodstock. They people were nice. The manager came by several times to make sure our allergy issues were addressed.
If you’re celiac, it may not be as great as it could be. But for people with less severe gluten allergies/sensitivity, it’s a solid option for a good meal.
