Review of Jeannie's Great Maine Breakfast

Ate breakfast here a couple times during our recent Bar Harbor vacation - loved it! They are able to make almost everything on their menu gluten free, and they definitely take cross contamination precautions. Once I told the waitress I had celiac she was able to tell me what would and wouldn't be safe for me - she even knew to warn me about the American cheese brand that they use having trace amounts of gluten according to the manufacturer! When there was a question over the syrup they provide, they brought the bottle out to me from the back so I could google it (it was gluten free and celiac safe!). I really appreciated their attention to my allergy. Plus the food was delicious and the staff was super friendly!

Also - I know the posted hours here say 6am opening time but they actually open around 5:15am (at least during the peak summer weeks) because we (and several other groups) went there for breakfast right when they opened at 5:15am after watching the Cadillac Mountain sunrise.
