Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

This is the perfect Ice Cream shop for gluten free folks! They have the gluten free ice creams labeled as so and if you tell them you have Celiac's Disease/sever gluten allergy - they will scoop from a fresh tub with a clean ice cream scoop. Yes there are some gluten containing flavors/cones, but it's so easy to eat here without fear of cross contact thanks to their awesome protocols and incredibly helpful staff! My whole family went here (6 of us) but only 2 of us needed the gluten free options and we all loved it!

My husband brought my daughters and I here tonight as a surprise after dinner, and I will be honest and say that I was hesitant to order anything at first. My husband asked the employee helping us if he would mind using a clean scoop for my oldest daughter’s ice cream (wheat allergy), and I was shocked when he told us that he would not only use a clean scoop, but would scoop from a new carton of ice cream as well. I told him I didn’t want to make him do extra work if the chance of cc was low, and he replied that it wasn’t extra work for him, and that this was about us and making sure we stayed safe and felt comfortable. I was shocked, in the best way. After watching the extra effort it took him, I can say that it certainly did take more work (and time, even as the line was building), but he didn’t bat an eye and was incredibly kind about everything. I thanked him profusely and made sure he knew how much I appreciated his efforts. Not only was it nice to feel safe while enjoying a treat, but it was especially nice to not feel like I’ve ruined someone’s night all because I asked about safety measures concerning gluten. 10/10 recommend Jeni’s - both the service and ice cream were superior!

Excellent staff! Told them my daughter was celiac and they immediately went and got a new scoop, new container out the back, and changed gloves! Most of their options are GF including the cookies and cream!

Super accommodating, got me a fresh allergy scoop and fresh ice cream from the back. Delicious, and flavors you usually can’t get gluten free. I got birthday cake, gooey butter cake and cookies and cream. Would highly recommend for any celiac.
