Review of Jennifer Lee's Gourmet Bakery

Edit: ugh I wanted to like this place so bad! I was in the area today and was craving a sweet treat so I stopped here just to see what they had. I ended up leaving with a carrot cake cupcake. Ick! It was dense and undercooked, and the carrot shreds were tough and chewy. As someone else mentioned, I’m pretty sure the frosting is from a can. Don’t waste your money here!

Ehh. Definitely gluten free but I’m never happy with my purchase. Everything is bland and not like the gluten-full version you crave. Ordered a brownie today and was so let down. Tasted like Texas sheet cake or a cocoa flavored corn bread. Idk it was odd and NOT a brownie. Not very chocolatey, more like cake, and it crumbled apart. Sure stop here if you are desperate for a gf baked good but don’t have high expectations. I’m sure Jennifer Lee is a great person but I just can’t come here again.
