They wipe the meat slicer and counter down, change gloves (without being asked), used parchment paper to put everything on so it never touched the surface, used a separate knife to cut my sandwich that was also kept separate. I also saw the man who sliced the meat wash his hands before putting new gloves on. Gf bread was also packaged to prevent cross contamination and kept in a separate area. The sub roll tastes good also, it is not dry and crumbly. It can take awhile for them to wipe off the slicer so I recommend going at a less busy time (not peak lunch for example)

Knowledgeable staff, wife variety on the gf menu. Staff will ask if gluten free is due to preference or allergy. They clean the prep area, meat slicer, etc. for your order. Beware, mayo comes from a communal prep tub. I've eaten here twice without getting sick.
Yes
The staff was knowledge and very cautious to go the extra mile and make sure every aspect of my sandwich was gluten free. The sandwich was delicious and huge!

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
