Super sensitive celiac here. Ive had a cold sub from this location only 4 times, however, ive never gotten sick. I order online and specify the celiac stuff. So far so good.

If you aren’t Celiac, then I think this place will work for you. I ordered a sandwich and while they made it on a separate counter with separate equipment, they went to the regular toppings area and got the lettuce, tomato, etc from there. Would definitely not be safe for my daughter.

Absolutely love it here. They are trained to make any sort of gluten free sandwich on separate cutting boards, and clean the machinery very well before making the sandwich. I love coming here!

Great to have a real sub again. Staff is well trained in how to avoid cross contamination.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

The staff is very well trained with regard to Celiacs and cross contamination. The buns were individually wrapped. This is no Subway where it's a salad sandwich with 2 pieces of meat, the sandwiches were for real and stuffed. The only con was the price. The 12 inch sandwich was $13+, the 6 inch was $8+

The staff was very educate on gluten. The rolls are wrapped individually. They made sure the slicer was cleaned before they slice your meat. They made sure the work area for the sandwich was cleaned. All the sandwich selections are gluten free except for 2.

My daughter was so happy to find a sub shop that was knowledgeable about celiac protocol. Friendly staff and was delicious!! We will be back.

$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
