went with my sister and her boyfriend, with him paying. they got sticker shock, with mine coming out to about $12 with tax for a 6-inch Italian sub.
the ordering and seating area was a bit loud, cramped, and they funnel you to the back to order where my sister (wheelchair user) had difficulty navigating.
staff was knowledgeable and announced to the entire kitchen when my order came up. he answered all our questions patiently and washed the equipment *with soap* right in front of us and they changed gloves. unfortunately, he left the crumbs from the previous sandwich on the counter, though being careful not to touch them, and they took from the same bins as the gluten sandwiches. it's unclear if they ever double-dip, but that was concerning to me.
they had no indications on their menu, but claimed they were all GF when asked. they didn't know if any of the sauces were GF besides the hot sauce, but said that other GF customers never mentioned having any problems. i didn't add any to mine.
all that being said, i react to gluten with pain and cognitive issues among other things, and i didn't notice any of that. while pricey, the sandwich was delicious and filling. and while i didn't buy 1, they did have Udi's GF snickerdoodle cookies for about $3.
