Staff is great! Eaten from here multiple times without any issues. I’ve seen them put together my sandwich and they’re very careful not to contaminate anything.

They have an option for a gluten free sub roll and it doesn't taste that bad either! When we went there was cross contamination and I ended up getting sick from it but have never had an issue before! I think it is because we ordered from the mobile app instead of going in person.

They get all of the toppings from the same area they get gluten toppings. Make sure you let them know they need to get fresh toppings from the back.

The guys working took great caution to make sure there was no contamination. They were also very kind and friendly, not making me feel like an inconvenience. The gluten free bread was pretty good compared to many other places.

The staff was very accommodating. Just make sure that you tell them you’re celiac (if you are), that it’s for medical reasons, and that you can’t have any cross contamination at all. Then they’ll take toppings from the back. I was pretty worried that I was going to be contaminated, not gonna lie. Lots of bread pieces flying around.

First sub sandwich is over four years. I probably shed a couple tears of joy enjoying a GF sub. Jersey Mike's uses sub rolls from Udi's. Sub roll holds up pretty well though like most other GF bread it has a tendency to fall apart after a while.

None the less, sub was fantastic. Store followed very precise procedures which included wiping down everything (deli slicer, and preparation counters), everyone changed gloves, dedicated container for mayo for GF sandwiches, and dedicated knife for cutting the sandwich. While not a dedicated preparation area, by far one of the most thorough processes I have seen to date. Will be interested to see if that process is followed during a busy rush as it took a few extra minutes to prepare my sandwich and there was a few folks waiting patiently in line behind me.

I would not hesitate to eat at Jersey Mike's again. I felt very confident that my sandwich was going to be safe to eat and was delicious on top of it.

Jersey Mike's thank for you taking the lead for national sandwich chains to have GF bread available.

$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
