Jersey Mike's Subs

4th Jersey Mike’s I’ve ordered GF in, 1st to make me nervous. Slicer is surrounded by bread and covered in crumbs, my sub was messed up twice while making it. Had I wanted a cold cut which I’ve ordered in the past at other locations, it would have been a no go given the condition of the slicer. Will not return to this one. True Celiacs like me: skip this location

Contaminated sub twice while making it. Their GF bread was ridiculously stale. Like crunchy stale. Which was great after they had to remake it because they contaminated it. Avoid.

Cleaned all work stations, all sandwich makers switched gloves to work on sub. Great experience.

Staff asked if allergy and provided separate surface and utensils when preparing sub. Took great care to keep safe.

Yes

If you let them know that you have celiac disease, they'll wipe down the equipment and change gloves before making your sandwich. They also have a separate knife to cut the gf bread. There is some risk of cross-contamination with the lettuce, tomato, etc. though.

Staff was knowledgeable about cross contamination, and took care to ensure my food was safe.

They keep the gluten free rolls and condiments in a separate container in the back. When you mention Celiac disease, they wipe down the slicer, counter, have one person change gloves and fixes your sandwich. The manager made sure they took it seriously and wiped everything down. They even have a separate knife to cut the sub! I was impressed!! They have me back as a regular!!

The sandwich’s were very good ! The staff was knowledgeable and changed washed their hands and changed gloves while preparing my sandwich . They had a separate machine for cutting the meats . The food was great and I didn’t get sick . Would return here again!

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.

Love the separate prep area.
