I've been to many Jersey Mikes and they are a go-to for me. I was appalled at the lack of gf precautions and ignorance of these employees. I ordered a gf Italian and told them I have an allergy. (Severe Celiac) I saw the girl carrying a tray of reg bread first. I still assumed she changed her gloves but I didn't see if she actually did. She started making mine in the designated area. Then, I was being asked what I wanted on it BY THE GUY AT THE REG PREP TABLE and I KNOW he didn't change his gloves! He had already opened my sandwich and was asking me what toppings I wanted. I gasped. I asked why my toppings weren't coming from the back. The manager stepped in and said oh it's okay, we only use our hands on these. I shook my head and said but those are contaminated! She struggled her shoulders and started wrapping mine up. Bread and meat! No toppings, no condiments! Don't go here!
