Not even close to celiac safe. They have Udis gluten-free bread, but that’s the extent of it. Explained to them that I had celiac, and asked if they were able to avoid cross-contamination. They said yes, and then proceeded to wipe the slicer with a paper towel…the same slicer that cuts bread…so they could cut meats and cheeses for my sandwich. This slicer was full on bread crumb land. Not a chance someone with celiac is leaving that place unscathed.

My family visited LA from the UK and after some research found Jersey Mike’s Subs, which had some pretty good reviews from Find Me Gluten (we had no kitchen so had to rely on takeout foods, but did our best to avoid cross-contamination as much as possible). We decided to go and ask and ended up getting my brother (who has coeliacs) a sub. The people who worked there were very knowledgeable, asked if it was an allergy or a preference, and then proceeded to change gloves, wipe everything down and use fresh produce to make the sub when we told them it was an allergy. My brother had no adverse reaction from the sub and said it was delicious. They also told us all of the fillings that were ok for him to eat (which seemed to be a lot of them) and had really good gluten free rolls. Would definitely recommend!

So awesome! I came in during the lunch rush, but they did not cut any corners. Super careful about preventing cross contamination and they have really great options!

I usually order through the app and pick it up so I can’t speak with full confidence on cross contamination, but the gluten free bread is really good. Best place to get a gluten free sandwich around the area. I don’t think I’ve ever felt sick from it.

I was IMPRESSED when I went in! They wiped the meat cutting machine down with soap & water, wiped all of the counters off, used a new, clean, & lined tray. I’ve been there twice & didn’t get sick either time!

Great people, careful with cross contamination every time I’ve been there so far. They only had 1 half of a GF bread left when I ordered a giant and they put the other half in a bowl for me and offered a free sandwich card for the trouble. Highly recommend every Jersey Mike’s for celiac-friendly sandwiches and this one was no exception.

I frequently get subs from this location and I have never had any issues. Gluten free bread is available as an option for each sandwich. Before preparation, the employees ask if it’s a preference or an allergy, and are extra careful not to cross contaminate if it’s an allergy (for me it’s an allergy). Everything is delicious! My favorite sandwich is the Classic Italian
