I know they are typically super safe, which is why my husband (not gluten free) and I went. But when I told the lady taking my order I had celiac disease and needed gluten free she rolled her eyes at me. They ended up not being able to make my sandwich so we left.
The service at this location was great! They were friendly, and asked if it was an allergy then confirmed before they made it. The location was clean (workstations, lobby and restrooms). And my order was accurate and felt safe to eat!
They cleaned the area in front of me; after stating the allergy. 10/10 recommend

Non celiac here, but I have a very sensitive stomach! I ran in to get a few gluten free sandwiches for my kids and I and I was amazed by these ladies working here. They cleaned everything right in front of me and changed gloves and even had a mayonnaise that was separate from the other to use for our sandwiches. We all had the club sandwich and thanks to these knowledgeable workers we had a great experience.
Jersey Mike’s for the win! GF bread was soft and fresh. Staff was knowledgeable and very careful with cross contamination. Clean knife, fresh paper, changed gloves etc. Added bonus: staff was so nice!

My first ever experience trying jersey mikes. I went on a Friday at around 7:30pm. They weren’t very busy at all which made me feel better. I told the server I had celiac and asked if they could accommodate. She let me know they have a separate tray and knife they will use for me, and then changed her gloves. I asked if they had separate ingredients and she said they’ll slice the meat and cheese right there and then will grab fresh clean ingredients from the back for me. She let me know they didn’t have fresh tomatoes so I skipped them. She also told me they have gluten free cookies in case I wanted one. She took my sandwich the whole way so no one else touched it. The udis subs are bigger than I thought and on a high shelf in individually wrapped bags. She was so nice and helpful! I’m excited to have a new convenient option.
They always change gloves and use a clean knife to cut the gluten free bread. They also put the bread on a tray to keep it from cross contact on the counter. They wipe down the deli slicer if you're ordering a cold sandwich.
They have Udi’s sub bread and a separate prep area with separate toppings! They were already on top of everything cross-contact related as soon as I said we were celiac, including changing their gloves! Awesome experience. I felt safe eating here with my son.
Was nervous about coming here because of the past review on here but they have great protocols for allergies. There’s always a chance of cross contamination in any restaurant but they seemed to have a protocol that everyone followed.
Just like the vast majority of the Jersey Mike's locations, this one took excellent care in preparing my sandwich in a gluten-free environment. New surface, new knife, new gloves, etc. I enjoyed the sandwich and suffered no ill effects.
