Being a Celiac I know I'm taking a risk. Over the last year I've ordered several gluten free subs from both Woodbury locations and haven't gotten sick. Typically I know I've been glutened within 20 minutes so I'm very physically sensitive. The staff uses separate utensils and surfaces to prepare my subs. I've only ordered cold subs. Jersey Mike's is my go to for delivery and takeout.

Super understanding and good at cleaning to avoid cross contamination!
I have unfortunately gotten sick every time I have eaten here.

Gluten free bread is ok. Not much flavor but holds together ok. Good sandwiches.
Very knowledgeable with celiac and avoiding cross contamination! Thank you Jersey Mike’s!
Love this place. Manager is very careful and the owner's wife is celiac. So he GETS it. I order here once a week and have never been sick.

This is the sub place to go to! I hate being in the road, or traveling because I know it is hard to find gf food, BUT jersey mikes is legit. They clean up prep area, wipe down every thing, and wash hands, every thing. Whole nine yards.

Eat here every week! Never had a problem! Its amaizing!

The staff were all well trained on how to prepare a gluten free sub. They wiped everything down, grabbed the wrapped up bread from the back, changed gloves, etc.
The only down side was the bread didn't taste the best, but that was semi-expected.
I usually react to small amounts of cross contamination within the hour and had no symptoms after eating my sub!

$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
