Took my very sensitive 13 year old celiac daughter here today for her first sub ever! They had a GF bread option and prepared on separate area with separate slicer and veggies. We were very confident and She loved it!

Great service. Staff cleaned prep area and changed gloves during our service. Subs were spectacular. Definitely will be coming back to Jersey Mikes.

Excellent service and delicious fluffy Udi's bread. They cleaned all the machines and countertops, changed gloves, and then used separate ingredients to make my sub. It ended up costing $18, which sounds steep but it was gigantic. It is essentially two subs which in my mind was totally worth it. Very friendly manager as well

Staff extremely knowledgeable and informed about GF practices. Made everyone’s sandwich before mine. The gal who made mine changed gloves, used separate mayo and lettuce, cleaned the slicer, and used a wrapper separate from the one my sandwich was prepared on. Awesome to know there are places that take such care when preparing food for Celiacs!

Udi’s sub bread available. They were very accommodating. Cleaned the machine for slicing meat and cleaned area before they began. Tasty sub!
They don’t offer a kid’s gluten free sandwich so I had to buy my daughter an adult sandwich. However she loved the bread. She had the tuna. The staff were knowledgeable and took proper precautions.

This location (on University) does not follow the gluten-free protocol! I go to Jersey Mikes often as a safe option while traveling. Today, I ordered a GF sub (specifying for an allergy) and the manager instructed the employee to make it on the regular slicer so they wouldn’t have to clean the gluten free one again. I asked if he could please use the GF slicer, and he did… without changing his gloves. Then, he carried it over to the regular line and used the non-GF knife and veggies. I asked if he could please use the separate GF area that was all set up and he said “this was how they always do the GF orders.” The manager and other employees saw this and did not say anything. I did not eat my sub.

Called ahead to verify that they have gluten free bread, which they do. Awesome! When I got there the place was super busy, and I almost left out of fear that I would slow the process down even more. Decided to stay and give it a chance. The person at the meat slicer wiped down the area and slicer when I told him I needed everything gluten free. He was amazing about it. I had to ask them to grab fresh ingredients from the back though, because the person adding the toppings just wanted to use what was up front. They weren’t thrilled with getting stuff from the back, but they did do it. Overall it was a decent experience.

Great celiac-safe protocols. When I mentioned “gluten free” the staff immediately changed their gloves, used a separate knife, and put paper down to avoid contact with the cutting board. They also have Udi’s snickerdoodle cookies!

They have GF sub sandwich rolls! Possible cross contamination but they were careful in preparation. My sandwich was the best Ive had in such a long time! It’s so nice to be able to have a ’normal’ meal along with the rest of my family! They also have an option to make your sandwich a meal with a drink and chips or even an individually packaged GF udis cookie!
