UPDATE: I was contacted by Bryan and he apologized for my experience. He realized when I left that he could have handled things differently. To make a long story short, I returned a few weeks later and had a very positive experience. The slicer was cleaned, my sandwich was made on a clean surface with a clean knife and veggies were brought out from the back. My sandwich was free and I received a coupon for another free lunch. I will return and feel confident that my first experience was a one time deal.
I went in for the first time today. I didn’t get anything because they said they couldn’t get fresh veggies from the back, even when I said it could be cross contact regardless of them changing gloves. It’s unfortunate, because other locations are very accommodating.

Had an awesome steak and cheese sub. They can do basically any sub GF and even have gluten free cookies and chips. Really enjoyed

Gluten free sub rolls and the staff took very special care to avoid cross contamination by changing gloves and using separate knife to cut the bread. The staff was very kind and happy to be accommodating. Food was nice and fresh. So excited to have another lunch option that is safe for me!
I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
