I ordered a whoopie pie. The gluten free treats were all on the same side of the case. Whoopie pies were all individually wrapped. It was soft and good

There were many pastry options and most sandwiches could be made gluten free. Unfortunately everything that we tried there was very dry and flavorless.

Pastries are all displayed on the same counter but on different trays and are very clearly marked as GF, vegan, GF & vegan, containing nuts, etc.

Most items are GF, many items are both GF & vegan! They have great coffee with many different milk alternatives. They usually have a soup option which is almost always GF and vegan. The food has always been fantastic. They do not use preservatives, so definitely best eaten the day you buy it! Always very fresh.

The staff are great and so knowledgeable about what’s in everything. For example, if something is labeled as containing nuts, they know exactly what nuts are in it.

I nima tested a chocolate cookie and pumpkin chili - both smily faces! I’m sure there is a chance of cross contamination but in these two instances looks good.

Food was good, especially the desserts and GF options were available, even though everything is in the same display, so chances of cross contamination if you ask me. Staff could be more welcoming, one of the staff girl could learn a thing or two about good customer facing behaviour...

After being diagnosed with gluten intolerance, I was really sad because I figured I'd have a hard time finding restaurants. (I'm also a dairy-free pescetarian who mostly eats like a dairy-free vegetarian.) Jodi Bee's is just awesome! I haven't tried the GF baked goods yet, but I love getting lunch here with the gluten free bread. It's the only GF bread I like! If you're into savory sandwiches and have a savory tooth like me, definitely check out their cornmeal-encrusted tempeh selections. I love the buffalo sandwich with cashew based cheese and my fiance, a dairy eater, thought his buffalo mozzerella on his Caprese sandwich was real mozzerella and was stunned to find out that it was vegan mozz. I've never gotten sick eating here and the staff takes allergies and intolerances seriously. Love this place!

I ate lunch there today. The chickpea sandwich was tasty. The bread looked not so great but tasted delicious, which was a nice surprise. The chocolate chip and sea salt cookie was legitimately one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. My lunch companion (non-GF) couldn’t believe it was gluten free.

Wonderful bakery and everything is clearly labeled! Their gf cupcakes could use some work as they can be a little dry, but everything else is delicious! And Jodi is always there if you have questions

Ordered a gluten free cake and got sick. Owner swears she made my cake GF but I think she mixed my order up. Beware if you order here as their service is sloppy.

Owner Response

Justin,

We have never had an issue with a customer getting ill from our gluten-free food so I am a bit confused by your review. You stated that I swore to you that I made your cake gluten free but since I have never spoken with you or anyone else about a cake that they doubted was gluten free, I can't help but wonder if perhaps you are the one mistaken. I'd ask that you first confirm that you actually ordered the cake from this bakery and If you did indeed order a cake from me that you had an issue with, please email the bakery directly so I can address it. Either way, I would request that you update this review so it is factual.

Delicious vegan pumpkin chili! Corn bread was ok. Only complaint: while they have soy free/nut free markers indicated on their menu legend, they don't seem to mark the items that actually are soy or nut free. Takes some digging, but they will get the answers for the people with fun, weirdo sensitivities beyond gluten ;)

I just happen to pass by this place & saw the sign that they had GF options! I was VERY impressed with the cupcakes I purchased! They had other GF options too, but I didn't try anything else to comment, but everything looked great!! I really hope this place stays open!
