Excellent food, large portions and celiac conscious. Had fish Keoki style and a gluten free desert similar to Kimo’s in Maui. Our server was also excellent. Our GF food was brought out separately. Outstanding and highly recommend.

Not a ton of gluten free options but they were so knowledgeable and accommodating. I had the seafood risotto which was outstanding, and their kiokis style fish is also gluten free. The waitress marked the dishes as celiac and a manager actually brought our two gluten free dishes out separately from everyone else.

Staff was very knowledgeable and very careful of cross contamination. I went at lunch time and got the cold shrimp salad and a glass of wine. The bartender washed hands before even pouring my drink and the kitchen washed hands and changed gloves. The manager himself delivered my meal to ensure no cross contamination. I carry an epi pen so am very sensitive to cross contamination but had no issues. The menu was a bit limited and the fryer is shared. However the menu gf labels are very clear and they have gf bun and tortilla options. My friend has a severe dairy allergy and they were able to accommodate that as well. View is beautiful the restaurant feels like you’re sitting in a garden! Will definitely be back again before returning home!

I used to love Keoki’s before I had to give up gluten. But if you are GF, it’s just OK. On the dinner menu, there is just one salad that’s GF and one main course (risotto). I asked if any of the fish preparations were GF because, come on! Turned out that Keoki’s style was and it was very good. They do have Tamari for the sashimi. So, the food is good but the options are very limited that I can only give 3.5 stars.

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about celiac and cross-contamination. My 8 year old celiac daughter is pretty picky and the options were somewhat limited for her taste. The bbq chicken is NOT gluten free, contrary to what was written in a previous post. GF options are kale salad, seafood risotto, burger with gf bun (no fries - it’s a shared fryer but they also have fruit, side salad or rice), fresh catch of the day, steak and the prime rib without the au jus. She opted for the kids chicken teriyaki with no teriyaki- rice, plain chicken and they had gf soy sauce. There’s a gf banana cream pie for dessert but we were stuffed. Also, they bring out a muffins while you’re waiting that are not gf so that was a little hard for her to watch the other kids eat that. Overall, great experience! Just a bit limited if you’re a picky kid.

a few gluten free menu items. Staff was great and asked if allergy/ celiac or preference. My food came out first and was confirmed gluten free when presented. Seafood risotto was delicious. I didn’t care for the gluten free dessert.

Came here with an excursion group. Included in our package was a buffet lunch. They went out of their way to make me a separate, safe lunch and the food was delicious!

Only two entrees offered as gf. Photo of gf menu is old. No gf menu. Gf and Df had prime rib and gf had seafood risotto. Both were very good. Great setting- outside near small stream and live music.

I informed the waitress about Celiac. She pointed out the GF marked items and also said some extra fish items could be made GF. I ordered the kale salad and the seafood risotto. When both were delivered the server specified they were GF which always makes me feel more confident. Both were very delicious. Not a ton of options, but the atmosphere was great, the food I got was delicious, and didn’t get sick.

Went for lunch. The GF options were a bit limited but I settled on the fish tacos which could be served on corn tortillas. Unfortunately my order arrived on flour tortillas. The waitress was very apologetic and they remade my meal once they realized the error. I was just happy I caught it in time - a reminder to always be vigilant. Otherwise, the quality of the food was excellent and I enjoyed some delicious banana pie!

Great experience here. I called ahead and was told the gluten free protocol. Our server was knowledgeable about the gluten free items, and what could be modified. I ended up going with the Kale salad which was wonderful, and the manager even brought out my dish. I’d highly recommend going here during your stay!

Dinner was delicious! Gluten free options are a bit limited but the seafood risotto is gluten free and very tasty. The server informed the kitchen of celiac disease and the manager brought out my meal. Service was absolutely fantastic! Someone in my party accidentally dropped their leftovers so the waitress gave us a free hula pie (not gf) which was above and beyond! Will definitely dine here again!!!

This used to be one of my go to spots on the island but the menu has changed and there are only a few gf items available. Staff wasn’t very knowledgeable and I was worried about cross contamination. I did not get sick thankfully

Called beforehand to ask about gluten free protocol and gluten was given a whole spiel about bringing out new cooking utensils, the manager bringing out the meal, etc. When I got there and ordered none of this seemed to actually happen. I did not get glutened but felt super sick after eating about 4 bites the seafood risotto bc it was ridiculously heavy. (Others I was with tried mine and agreed!) The only gf options on the menu were the seafood risotto and kale salad. Gluten eating members of my group liked their meals a little better but everyone agreed the drinks were overly sweet and fake tasting. Overall, wouldn’t recommend going here.

Gluten free items are marked on the menu. The selection is very small, only 2-3 items. However, some items can be modified. Most of the dishes come with sauces that are not GF, which really limits the options available. Although disappointing, I was glad the staff were so knowledgeable. Had the French onion soup without croutons and the seafood risotto, both of which were fantastic. I just wish there were more items to choose from.

Eat in the bar side of the restaurant! Different menu than the dining room. This includes the burgers! Oh my god the ranchers burger is amazing. They make a point to ask if it’s celiac, and state that have a “gluten free kit” they’ll use. Don’t know what that is exactly, but sounded good and heard the bartender pull the manager aside to let them know there was a celiac diner. Unfortunately no fryer, so had to substitute a side salad, but after eating so much rich food, I wasn’t upset (and the dressing was delicious)!
Food was excellent! My son and I both have Celiac disease. There was a decent number of choices and they explained how cooks change gloves, prepare in a separate area and use new pans etc. would highly recommend.

We ate here 3 times while on vacation,, they really understand, as I am very sensitive. Bonus the food was great.
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable about celiacs and gluten free and the food was delicious. They modified a gluten meal to be gluten free for me as well!
Yes
The service staff was incredibly knowledgeable about celiac and gluten. The server even brought me some fresh pineapple when she brought bread for my husband. They also made a last minute substitution for the veggie with my entree because I guess there was a concern about cross contamination. I had the lobster tails and it was a little pricey, but so good!
Yes
Servers very knowledgeable and the manager came and explained to me what they do in terms of cross contamination. Already been back again and haven’t gotten sick. They even brought gluten free bread out for me while the rest of my party had their complimentary muffins, so I didn’t feel left out! Love this place.
Yes
Appreciate the menu being clearly labeled, albeit not a ton of gf options. Our waiter was knowledgeable and I enjoyed the food. The Thai lemongrass shrimp is a great appetizer. When the normal muffins were brought out he brought me delicious gluten free biscuits (without me even asking) and it was a nice touch.

Staff were super helpful and the food was delicious!

Expensive but yummy, great customer service and the drink in the pineapple was delicious!! I had the kale salad and the continue tofu!
I came here twice. The manager brings you your food. True limited choices, explains their cross contamination processes, and makes sure you are comfortable. Also they have gluten free soy sauce. A safe win for me.
Yes
GF menu clearly marked - staff was super nice and knowledgeable.
A wonderful experience! Our server was caring and knowledgeable. Had a wonderful burger with no issues afterwards. Highly recommend this place.
Yes
Keoki style on any of the fresh fish is fantastic and gluten free - entree will change out rice to plain white. There are several options in the menu. They are careful and celiac aware and very careful to not cross contaminate. Managers deliver food and make kitchen aware. Been many times and didn’t get sick.
Staff was knowledgeable & they had plenty of options
Yes
Wonderful experience! Our waiter asked if anyone at the table had allergies and I said I had celiac. He told me he’d let the manager know and how to find and read gf options on the menu. The manager then came out himself and confirmed that he personally made the chefs and staff aware of the allergy and that all celiac plates are brought out separately from the other dishes. Our waiter brought out gf soy sauce without being asked for an appetizer and was so friendly the entire meal. My boyfriend and I split the lobster which was amazing and we also got Thai shrimp appetizer which had delicious sauce! Many drink options as well and a great atmosphere. A few misunderstandings (no cross contamination just awareness of the seriousness of celiac) like the waiter said I could eat some of the pie (ice cream only) even though it has Oreo crust on it. Overall a great experience though!
Yes
Very, very careful when it comes to cross contamination. Our server wrote down “celiac” on his order into, and informed me that their procedure is to inform the managers and chefs directly about the celiac customer to ensure no cross contamination. I order a gluten free appetizer, which was brought out by the manager. He confirmed that I was the celiac and let me know he personally made sure everyone was aware. He also mentioned that they carry out all celiac dishes on their own (rather than when servers stack 3-4 plates up there arms) to avoid C.C. I had the seafood risotto and it was super tasty. This place has a cool ambiance, delicious food and a very thoughtful staff. Definitely recommend!
Yes
No longer has separate GF menu, but server was happy to explain which options could be prepared gf beyond the few already labeled as such. Chef and manager visited us to explain safety precautions in our food prep. Had very tasty fish and mashed potatoes with coconut banana pie for dessert. Kids happy. Parents happy
Yes
Very impressed with this restaurant. Our server seemed knowledgeable (modified the drink to have GF vodka without us having to ask), and a manager came out to speak with us and explain their methods to avoid CC in the kitchen. Food was delicious and they even has GF pie for dessert! Highly recommend!
Amazing experience and atmosphere. And the food was great, as well. They go out of their way to keep celiacs safe, and the server says what else can be made gf that isn't on the menu. Even the young man who brought the island iced tea said they weteaware of the celiac disease.
Add to this the beauty of the place (see picture) and we're definitely returning before we leave Kauai!
Yes
We are two celiacs - food was excellent We they are very aware of celiac disease. We had the warm spinach dip & they gave us Warm toasted GF bread - a treat There were lots of options for GF main meals and deserts! We ate here twice!
Yes
staff knowledgeable, manager came to our table without asking and brought out the food separately himself . Food was OK My daughter liked her GF food and on top of celiac is very picky. they had fair amount of GF option not just salads .Not as pricey as other places we ate. Certainly should be on your list celiac or not. My daughter did not get sick
Yes
Great setting, service and food. Best gluten free burger I've had in along time.
Good food, but really overpriced for what they offer. There are a couple gf options in each category but don't go expecting a multitude of choices. They didn't have all the gf options labeled so I did have to ask the server.
No
I had the fish sandwich with a GF bun and rice instead of fries because they have shared fryers. The bun was one of the best I have had and the fish was amazing, highly recommended. I also recommend the mango colada, I had two and did not have any reactions.
Partner had the pulled pork sandwich with GF bun and it was also very tasty. Everything was very affordable.
Yes
Good food, but they weren't as accommodating for gluten free for all meals for our party.
No
The fish sandwich on a GF roll was fantastic!
