The staff are very accommodating. Gluten free soy sauce is available and they will even allow you to bring in your own sauce. Most dishes can be made gluten free if you ask.
So amazing. That cooked my food first and made sure everything was separate without making me feel bad like some places do
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu

This is NOT celiac friendly. If you just have a mild Gluten sensitivity know that of course, they use the same grill as for everyone else (there will be cross contaminarion) but will cook your food before others. The Chef seemed to be doing well UNTIL he plopped a bunch of wheat pasta on our plate and we asked “so I’m assuming these are made from rice” and he said “no, from wheat” and we said “we can’t have it” and he said “but you’re gluten free and this is wheat pasta.” We explained that wheat pasta is like ALL GLUTEN and he tossed out the pasta from the dish, leaving some on the plate, and returning the plate with the fried rice on it to us. The manager was very apologetic and we think it was a lack of proper education issue. SO if you have a very mild sensitivity, now you now what to watch out for. The Chef also did not know whether the mayo based yummy sauce was safe and fhe soup and salad that come with the meal are not GF. So, they’re trying yes, but there are still growing pains.
There is only one item on the menu marked gluten free but the waitress was very knowledgeable and told me to pick what I wanted and that they would make accommodations for it to be made gluten-free. The one dish is rice noodles with an added meat. They have gluten free soy sauce. I had sashimi and a poke bowl and even got to have an appetizer. I didn't have a reaction.
They were exceptional for our celiac daughter. The manager came out to discuss her options with us and they cooked her hibachi with gluten free soy sauce. It was delicious and she didnt get sick. They even came out to check if everything was okay. We enjoyed it!
We’ve been here a couple of times, based on the excellent reviews. Both times, staff were rude and lacked knowledge about gluten. I started getting worried when the waitress told me she thought the steamed buns were gluten free. Got much more worried when she brought out the “gluten free” soy sauce—actually low sodium soy sauce with wheat.
