Not Celiac safe! Beware. Also their soy sauce has wheat last time I checked.

After we ordered and paid, the staff came out and said that if my daughter was allergic to gluten then we should not eat here. Even though they have GF on their menu. So we had to leave. Unsafe.

I loved it! Crunchy Rice ban with delicious meat!
Just like the location in Walnut Creek, the menu is a little different but the GF options are basically the same. Easy, tasty, relatively cheap, a win in my book. I do think much of the food is quite sweet so for example I have the korean bbq but without the pineapple so it's not as sweet. Hot sauce helps too! I have celiac and felt fine after eating here and in the WC location, as long as I don't eat the fries. They say they are GF but I don't feel great when I eat them so I avoid them now.

False labeling!
The items marked 'gluten free' contain wheat. Disclosed on their website but not in person. According to the Food and Drug Administration restaurants should NOT be representing their wheat-based soy sauce as gluten-free.

I did not know this when I ate there and had a reaction.

Eaten here a lot and never gotten sick! The garlic rice buns are really good, way better than any gf bread I’ve had.

I love this place. Delicious food. I have had it several times with no reaction and I am extremely sensitive to cross contamination.
Their "gluten free" soy sauce contains wheat! https://www.kojakitchen.com/gluten-free Regrettably, I ate here a couple times before learning this and while I was never *super* sick, I definitely felt off afterwards, now I know why. Not sure what they think is so terrible about using truly GF tamari instead, and it's a real shame they don't because the food is actually pretty tasty.
