I am gluten free (Celiac) and vegan. This has been so difficult in Spain because all vegetable based dishes have been so bland. La Bartola clearly labels all dishes to allow one to make dietary choices. Hubby had fried squid and grilled beef with potatoes, which he loved. I had a cooked veggie dish that was bursting with flavor. I was also given gluten free bread that was delicious dipped in the sauce from my veggie dish. We shared a yummy chocolate panna cotta (vegetarian, not vegan). We both agreed this was the best meal we've had this whole trip.
