I second the first reviewer. The pasta carbonara was exceptional and the GF pasta well cooked. They do not make fresh pasta but carbonara is meant to be made with dried pasta so is not an issue. Also at lunch I was served warm homemade GF bread which was delicious. Highly recommend if you are in Chianti.

My boyfriend and I went here on a whim without a reservation, and still managed to get seated. When telling the waitress about celiac she immediately knew what we were talking about. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and ate the ENTIRE plate. When she came back she explained that they’re very serious about keeping their gluten free station clear, and that’s when i found out they didn’t even make the pasta I ate that night. Which is why I encourage you to make a reservation before coming here. However, the pasta I had last night was truly amazing and probably the best pasta I’ve ever had my whole trip. Possibly the best gluten free pasta I’ve had in my whole celiac journey.
