Not gluten free according to my Nima tester. Nice staff but could not eat.

One of our favorite places to eat in town. Staff is well trained and excellent for celiacs. A good chunk of the menu is gf.

A nice easy place to eat with quite a few gluten free options I usually end up with some tacos. The staff is typically knowledgeable about cross contamination and knows the menu well. The courtyard is great but during the day can get cold or too sunny - weird combo I know but I’ve been there at different times so prep for weather sunnies and a coat. Great drinks and great live music. I do wish more than anything the tots could be made gluten free.

One of my most favorite places to eat in Tucson! So many gluten free options and the staff is knowledgeable about cross contamination. Such a beautiful atmosphere and great food and drinks (highly recommend the prickly pear marg)

My family and I had a wonderful dinner tonight. They have many gf options for my celiac daughter and me. My family is vegetarian, too and we had a lot of options. Everything tasted amazing and the atmosphere is very festive. This is now on our must go to restaurants when we are in Tucson.

Not a dedicated GF facility but the owner, Jo, is very familiar with Celiac and was exceedingly accommodating! Mixed menu with burgers, tacos, quinoa bowls, etc. and varied protein options (chicken, barbacoa, pulled pork, jackfruit, salmon, etc.) and they make an effort to accommodate GF. We had tacos (already GF) and an overstuffed burrito which was served deconstructed with GF chips rather than in a flour tortilla. Dessert was a GF cheesecake with a nut flour base. Food and service were excellent and we would definitely return! Just please let them know you are GF so they can adjust for you!

Staff was really helpful and nice. The atmosphere was great. Tamales were worth coming back for.
Aaaaaahmazing.... beautiful vibe, great drinks. Most of menu is GF and they take great care not to cross contaminate. Dessert options (crazy food pies), dedicated chip fryer, awesome service

I think this place's reputation is well deserved. We sat outdoors, and even though it happened to be raining, it still felt great. The waitress was nice and seemed to be aware of the gluten free program. I had a BBQ pork sandwich with fries which tasted amazing, and the lemonade was also unique. Would definitely return.

Loved the food here and they had a good variety of gf options. Fun for a date night out!

Jo, the owner, was very responsive when I emailed her with questions, and she had our allergies marked in the reservation book when we arrived. She was very helpful and attentive, in making sure we were taken care of. Menu is very well marked with GF. Food was good, and no issues. The only potential "drawback" was a long wait, but we were in no rush, and very much enjoyed sharing drinks and conversation, with live music in the background. (Request the upper patio seating, if you don't want to shout over the music to talk). Would definitely return!

The food was amazing. Fresh, several GF options. Great staff and good music. Would recommend!

This is the first place in Tucson I have personally found that offers gluten free tacos. I have been wanting to just go get some tacos somewhere for a long time and La Cocina did not disappoint!! The braised beef tacos were delicious and totally Celiac safe. I even ordered to go from the bar and they were able to make sure everything was prepared carefully.

Jerk chicken and coconut rice was amazing. Lynn was very accommodating, very cute establishment. I will be back!

This place was amazing when it can to me, being a paranoid celiac. The waiter was ready to answer questions and double check everything for me. Even the owner came by to talk to me about the food and their allergen cautions. She gave me her card just in case I had any problems. The food was delicious and I didn't react to it!

Great bread, great attitude!

Jo and her staff were wonderful: friendly, VERY aware of GF issues, and the ambiance there is great. Definitely worth the trip. Let them know you are GF just to be safe, but you will have a great experience. I was in Tucson for 4 days and this was the best meal and best service I had hands down.

Ruben was good. GF bread was excellent. Potato salad was bland. Great atmosphere.
So good! Great atmosphere. Outside seating in the courtyard with live music. On Tuesdays they support a different local nonprofit and donate a percent of your meal. Lots of choices, clearly marked with an asterisk on the menu.
