I have been to La Paella several times and they are very careful to make sure I stay safe.
I have had every one of their paellas (the broth all ingredients they use are gluten-free.)
While the tapas menu does not state what items are gluten-free (yet), the server can tell you what can and can’t be done gluten-free. Any questions and they check with the chef. They also make sure everyone knows to keep everything gluten free in prep.
My favourite tapas are the white asparagus, the garlic chicken, garlic shrimp, the oyster mushrooms (done gf!), and the jamon plate.
The Sangria is also amazing!!
I always feel completely safe, and their service and ambiance is impeccable. Daniel is always my server, so if in doubt, just ask for him, he well-versed in the needs of Celiacs.
For desserts, the flan and almond cake are gluten-free, but I always get the rice pudding. Oh my goodness, it’s good.
