I ordered the beef short ribs and they were delicious. They have a lot of GF items marked on the menu and will fry cook separately. Will definitely be going back!

I went here to eat because of the previous reviews and was not disappointed. The servers were knowledgeable and gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu. If you have a specialty item like fried plantains, they will do it in a separate pan. The food quality is quite good the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Shared fryer, so they give you elote (street corn) instead of chips.
Delicious and safe! The owner came out go ask if I had celiac after seeing my order. He let me know the empanadas (made from corn) would be cooked separately. I highly recommend this place!

This is an excellent restaurant with clearly marked gf options (and lots of them). I have never had a bad meal here or gotten sick afterwards.

Go to La Rumba!! I cannot speak more highly or Ray, the owner, or this beautiful restaurant. After a 10 hr drive, we tried 2 "gluten friendly" options. The BBQ place had appalling cross contamination. When we called a tavern to check their gf practices, they were so rude and dismissive, we wouldn't even think to go there. We landed in culinary heaven. Ray, the owner of La Rumba, took one look at us, sat us at the bar with ice cold water and asked how he could help. He immediately understood the allergy concern and went to the kitchen himself to make sure my food was made slowly and carefully. He knew what sides were safe and everything was delicious. I had the hand made empanadas (delicious!) And Ray gave us street corn and pork shoulder that was amazing. This restaurant is fantastic and they take your allergy seriously!! The care they took was unbelievable. I recommend them to everyone!

We had such a good experience here. We ordered takeout because our dog was with us and there is no outdoor seating. The manager went through the entire order and confirmed that all was celiac safe. Our table number was marked as “celiac.” We had enfrijoladas with Carne asada, cochinita pibil, and a watermelon agua Fresca. All was delicious! The pickled onions on the cochinita pibil were out of this world. Fryer is shared so avoid if you are sensitive like I am.

The munu was very clearly marked with GF items and they had a wife selection. They bring you corn instead of chips and salsa which is good because the chips are not gluten free because of the shared fryer. The food was good. The fish tacos and corn were delicious, but the red rice was pretty bland. I would definitely go back.

Incredible authentic Mexican food! The food is affordable and absolutely so delicious that I’d eat there every day! The owner is very friendly and attentive. The kitchen uses masa (a corn flour) for many items like empanadas. Many items are clearly marked GF which IME is rare for a Mexican place. (No shade.) (Another review said they don’t have a gluten-safe deep fryer tho so be aware- not sure if empanadas are deep fried.)

I love this place! The chef always comes out to tell me what’s safe, and I’ve never been glutened. The fryer is not dedicated gf, so make sure to avoid fried things. Food is excellent, with huge servings.

The chef was so kind and came to the table to talk about options for our celiac child. We ended up doing ACP with the chicken cooked in a separate pan, as burritos are grilled on the area where chicken is cooked. No reaction and great food.

Food was amazing. They had elote as the default appetizer given when you walked in rather than chips and we loved that. One caveat, their fryer is not dedicated, so any of the fried stuff wouldn’t be safe
