OMG. I don’t usually rant and rave about a dish at a restaurant but I’m going to here. I went to La Siesta because I have read and heard about how well they do gluten free. They have a separate menu with several dishes that are safe. But tonight, I decided to try the special; a jambalaya. It was scallops and shrimp on a bed or rice with mushrooms and grilled chicken and a lobster sauce. For me, they grilled the chicken to make it gluten-free. It was rich and creamy and full of protein.

Service is wonderful. I’ve eaten here countless times and never have gotten sick. Not a huge GF menu but has some great options. Just wish they would get a dedicated fryer!

This was our first time ordering off of the gluten free menu after my son’s celiac diagnosis and the folks answering the phone were patient and friendly. We ordered takeout and when we got home we were confused about the way the food was labeled. When I called the restaurant they took the time to speak to the cook to ensure no mistakes. The food was delicious and our overall experience was great!

Great food. Never any problems after eating here. Very helpful with finding ingredients.
Very good, nice little gluten free menu, very careful not to cross contaminate. The food was excellent, would highly recommend the carnitas. I just wish the chips were gluten free and a gluten free dessert option.

Food was excellent! It's so nice that they had a little gluten free menu. Very authentic compared to some Mexican you get on the east coast. Highly recommend the flaca Maria, it's an amazing margarita!
Fantastic food, great prices, wonderful service! I have been eating here for years and have never had a reaction to there food, they accomodated my gluten free even before they started their gluten free menu.
