Not the best experience. No items were labeled and the staff was not knowledgeable. Was told some items were safe only to find out after we ordered that they were not.

Updated 2023 ***The regular french fries are no longer gluten free. They are coated with something that contains gluten. I was told by a server that gluten free sweet potato fries are an option, however. We did not try them. *** My son has Celiac disease & we ate here multiple times during our stay in Virginia Beach. While there is no gluten free menu, they do have gluten free buns available & also have a dedicated fryer for their french fries. My son had burgers, fries, & salads, & did not get sick. Great place to have a burger & enjoy some live music on the patio at the beach.

Updated 2022: We returned this year and had been in 2019. This year we had issues with the quality of food since the GF buns were not good at all. The menu is much more limited and there were only basic salad options. On top of that, one of the kids had cross-contamination issues (from the fries that they said was a dedicated fryer?).

Original 2018: Limited options, but safe food on the beach. Kids had burgers with GF buns and I had a salad with grilled shrimp. We all have celiac and went twice during this trip. Service was really slow when we went at 8pm dinner and the food was better prepared when we went for 4pm lunch. We will be back tho.

My burger and fries were about average. I do appreciate the option of a GF bun and fries from a dedicated fryer. My waitress didn’t seem to really understand what gluten was. Overall decent food and a quick meal if you are looking for something down by the beach to eat.

Went walking on the Boardwalk and decided to pop in for a bite to eat. We were told that they did not have a gf fryer, that it was all together. I decided not to inquire about the gf bun and just had a few drinks. Server was nice, but I was disappointed that they combined their fryers

Finally something in VB that was good! Had a great server who understood my celiac needs. Had a mushroom burger in a GF bun. And surprisingly had GF fries in a dedicated fryer. No coating on the fries! Perfect! Topped it off with a draft cider.
