Review of Lake Hope Lodge

Me and my celiac wife ate at the Lodge today. The owner has a gluten allergy and eats gluten free. This was a huge comfort to my wife who worries about cross contamination. He was awesome, Sunday mornings it is a buffet , he offered to show us what she could safely eat. Since we were concerned with cross contamination, he got her food from the kitchen. She had pulled pork, brisket, smoked turkey, au gratin potatoes, brisket hash browns, green beans and he made her the most amazing berry cobbler with whipped cream. She was thrilled to find such a gem located near us for a change. Highly recommend the Lake Hope Lodge for anyone with celiac. And the views are pretty awesome as well. To is located in the middle of a state park with a lake and multiple hiking trails. Several cabins for rent as well if you’d like to make a weekend of it.
