My second time at Lakeway since my celiac diagnosis, and it did not disappoint. It’s been so hard to find good Alfredo pasta, and Lakeway has it. The last time I was there the waitress told me they use corn starch in their Alfredo instead of flour, and it’s so good. Will be back again!

Great little place to get a great omelet. They offer gf bread but it is made in same toaster.

Gluten free pasta dish is offered. Pasta is gf but sausage and sauce were unknown. Staff not knowledgeable about the ingredients that go into it. The dish failed a Nima capsule test. Waitress offered to at least bring side dish but could not comment on gf status of this dish. Would advise celiacs to avoid.

This place is great. Diner / Italian. Seafood options. Breakfast all day. Staff knowledgeable and if they aren't sure, they check in the kitchen. Most seafood can be broiled. Gf pasta, gf sandwhich bread (not the best bread, but it is okay). Oyster Stew and Perch were great gf options. DF/Gf husband had Cincinnati chili over gf spaghetti.
Many healthy options and healthy cooking methods in consultation with Clevland Clinic.
We are visiting for the weekend and plan to return. Bring cash to avoid 3.5 % credit card surcharge. Most meals $7-$18.
** Had a second meal here two days later. Same great server who understands allergies due to own family. Tuna salad and burgers were okay. Would stick to their entrees, which are more signature. For others in your group who are not gf, the pasta is homemade by owner who started restaurant in the 1950s. Still highly recommend this place for decent safety, variety, and friendly staff.

I found online. We called and they were very knowledgeable. They have heart healthy options because of Cleveland Clinic and other medical centers.( Look up story online.) The waitress clarified each question...as to certain sauces..most used corn starch, not wheat. They grilled my chicken instead of breaded. It was fabulous! I even had bread to go with it!
