Review of Lamplighter

The coffee is THE BEST in Richmond, and there are plenty of GF food options, but they are pretty sketchy with the contamination side of it. The staff vary in their friendliness and knowledge when you question them. I suspect unless you have your bread toasted it's likely to be ok, but i'm never left feeling super confident about eating here. The sandwiches look great - but their gluten free bread is the crappy white dry crumbly kind so the salads are a better option. Stick to coffee and a "friand" by Nettie's Naturals - a great prepackaged mini "cake" made by a local GF/low GI/awesome baker.
