Talked to hostess and waitress about options. Brought out GF menu. It was actually laminated, which to me means they just didn't throw it together.
We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, which was one of the best I ever had(gluten and GF).
My son ordered the Philly cheese steak on a GF bun. The fries are GF, in separate fryer. I ordered the BBQ burger on a GF bun. It was a great burger.
Not tons of options, but some. Definitely will go back.
Most importantly my son enjoyed the food and didn't get sick.
They do have a list of gluten free foods and a dedicated fryer. Our waitress messed up and didn’t put it in right and I ate 2 bites then questioned if it was gluten free. A manager came out who was amazing….he panicked and took my food when he noticed it was made on a regular bun. Management was very helpful and assured us staff would be retrained. Definitely sick!
The food was alright and this is the kind of place where it really depends what server you get since nothing is marked on the menu. I would say it’s safe to eat here as long as you are very aware of what is in your food and double check with more than 1 person that your food is safe and gluten free. Definitely be careful eating here, but it is nice to know that they have a dedicated fryer and some gluten free options.
They have a dedicated allergen fryer. It happened to have been contaminated shortly before I visited, so I wasn’t able to enjoy the fries this visit, but hopefully they are figuring that out to get it back to the way it’s supposed to operate for future visitors. Burger was good; typical GF bun, a little dry, but nice to have a burger with a bun regardless.
Dedicated fryer, separate gf menu, knowledgeable staff AND the food was actually good! We ordered the nachos and the bacon cheese fries and shared with gluten eaters. The plates were cleaned! We were all happy and I didn’t get sick! Also can’t beat the ocean views! Highly recommend!
