This is a family run restaurant. They know what is in the food and can point out what is safe to eat. They can make gluten free chips and taquitos which is what I had today but I did have to wait for them to heat up fresh oil as the regular frier did have cross contamination. I thought the food was tasty and a step up from the normal suburban Mexican fare. I was happily full after my meal and did not get sick. They recommend calling ahead for fresh oil and chips to be ready when you arrive.
Staff were knowledgeable about celiac disease and were willing to modify recipes and accommodate celiac needs. Explained each item/spice they were going to use. No problems following meal. Alerted kitchen upon arrival and they even made us fresh corn tortilla chips in separate fryer!
