We came here our first night in Vegas and I was SO excited to have fish and chips for the first time in a very long time! I got the popcorn shrimp and dried cod and the cheesecake brownie. We ordered it to go and the lady asked if we wanted sauces and she said, "Cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, vinegar?" I said vinegar? Yeah! Oh my gosh, I miss fish and chips with vinegar! I was too excited. Took our food to our AirBnB, ate, and went to bed. The rest of that week was a blur. We were there to expand our business and I took my Adderall for my sleep disorder twice a day, felt like I wasn't taking anything, had to nap everyday and went to bed by 9 every night. I was foggy all day and by the end of the week my knee joints were swollen and painful. That next weekend we went back here again but ate there to avoid any soggy food. Different girl took our order and before our food cane out she brought big bottles of cocktail and tartar sauce. I asked "do you have that gluten free vinegar?" She said, "You want the malt or the white vinegar?" At this moment I was so dumb founded yet completely aware of what had happened one week before. I asked her if the malt was gluten free, just to be sure and she said Yes!! Then she said "I think...uh, let me go look." She came back and said it actually was NOT gluten free but I already figured that out. I was floored, as both times we had been there we were told repeatedly everything is gluten free except the hush puppies and the Greek foods because of the pita bread and, not only that, but there were little bottles of that darn malt vinegar on EVERY table!! I spent a week with a DH rash from hell, brain fog like a zombie, sleeping constantly, and joint swelling and pain. I still get shocked when things like this happen! Please be extra careful and also ask them and if they say the vinegar is fine, please say something! I also wrote an email to the contact info on the website but have not heard back.
