Review of Lazy Joe's Fish and Chips

A decent Gluten Free restaurant. The chef does understand GF and cross contamination. Everything is GF except for wheat buns and gyros The portions were very ample. I ordered two piece fried fish, fries and coleslaw, PLUS an appetizer of onion rings. I never get to eat onion rings and for me they were the best part of the meal. They were lightly battered and not greasy. We also ordered hush puppies and if you are hoping for the hush puppies you would get in the south made of cornmeal and onion, THESE are NOT the ones to order. The hush puppies are made of some kind of battered pieces of fish and not our favorite. The coleslaw was tasty. My husband ordered fried oysters and said they were good. The order contained 10 nice size oysters for a medium order. The waitress was very helpful, provided good service and knowledgeable about gluten free dining. She tried very hard to make your dining experience pleasant. The food was served on paper plates, plastic cutlery was also provided and styrofoam cups. We felt as if the cost of the meal was a little high.
