Super cute place with crepe menu, sandwiches, pitaya bowls, smoothies and salads. Vegetarian items are labeled. They offer a gf batter (buckwheat) but do not have a separate griddle for cooking (have three griddles total but all had been cooked on). I asked if they could at least clean to minimize contamination and they said yes, although hesitantly. They warned us it would be a wait and it was (over 30 minutes) because of larger orders ahead of us. After about 30 minutes they informed me they were out of buckwheat batter and had rice batter. I asked them to double check the ingredients because it could be thickened with wheat or a mixed flour. It was a glutinous rice flour used for mochi, which should in theory be safe
They offered salad options for the safest option.
The flavor was good and it was yummy, but despite the warning about a wait, the wait was 45+ minutes. One person was cooking and one was taking orders, serving and assisting. My food came 15 minutes before my dates. They were clearly cooking one thing at a time, polite and tried to warn us, but the wait was still very long for food that takes less than 10 minutes to make once you start making it.
