If you’re vegetarian or can’t do fish, this place is tough - the only thing they can do without oyster sauce and gf is the soup. There is a shared fryer. I got the soup and asked for steamed tofu instead of fried since there is a shared fryer, and my dish arrived with one piece of fried tofu in it. I sent and back and they made me feel like I was being a jerk for not just eating it even through I explained I couldn’t have cross contact or a shared fryer. They did remake it and the soup was great and I didn’t get sick - just ask lots of questions because not everything marked gf is Celiac safe.
I've successfully been to Le Thai pre- pandemic with good gf success. Very happy to report a very nice GF experience tonight. Things are clearly labeled on the menu as GF or GFO ("option"). The servers were all careful to point out things that went into a non-dedicated fryer. (Hint: keep away from the peanuts!)
Ate here twice and both times the food was good as well as our servers having knowledge of cross contaimination and making a note on the order. Good amount of options to choose from on the menu. Here it is 24 hours later and still feeling good. Enjoy!
The food here is delicious and the portions are quite generous. The restaurant is cozy and the drinks are good. All the gluten free meal options are labeled on the menu and the server checks with the kitchen about cross contamination. Try the Yellow Curry with chicken it’s amazing!
Looking for Thai - look no further. Terrific restaurant and lots of selections. Best of all you can pick the degree of spicy you want. I had the Pad Thai Chicken which is my favorite Thai food. The chicken was great and the noodles and vegetables were so flavorful. Lots of gluten free options for those seeking to eat gluten free and they're clearly marked on the menu. Place is busy so reservations recommended. Hubby got the pork fried rice which was made GF and was the best we've ever had. Several customers said this is their favorite restaurant for Thai food. Ate at the Freemont Street location which is close to all the casino's and fun.
We had an excellent meal here and our server was really knowledgeable about what was safe on the menu. They do not have a dedicated fryer so keeping to most of the curries or fried rice are the best bets - I had the crab fried rice with an egg and it was excellent. Nice cocktails too.
Le Thai is my favorite Thai in Las Vegas. I've always informed the waitstaff, even when my preferred dishes are naturally GF (e.g. the Green and Panang curries.) We've also had the Pad Thai as well, without issue.
We did have one near-issue, a newer waitperson grabbed the wrong Thai Fried Rice for my mother (she had requested GF) and we were not informed until about five minutes later, once she had already started eating. Fortunately, she didn't have a reaction (she isn't Celiac, but is GF for other medical reasons) and the manager comped our entire table.
I will start by saying I did not get sick and the food was delicious. All gluten free items labeled on menu and there were lots of options. I had the Pad Thai Noodles and Thai rice, modified to be gluten free. All the curry soups, several noodle dishes, and stir fried dishes were gluten free. My friend had the green curry and loved it. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend, not only to people with Celiacs, but to everyone.
We waited an hour and a half for a table, which is fine because it was a weekend. But then the waiter informed us only one dish on the menu could be made gluten free - the pad Thai, no appetizers or anything else. Kind of disappointing and I wouldn't have waited that long for food that's comparable to something I could get at Noodles and Company.
This was an excellent Thai restaurant with a relatively small menu but authentic taste and heat levels. Loved it!
They don't have a printed gluten free menu, but the servers are well aware of the numerous gluten free dishes they prepare. The food was very delicious, and the service was awesome. Servers are attentive and very quick. If you like spicy food, ask for level 3 or above. And if you like mojitos, get the Thaijito!
