Their crab cakes are now gf! So good! The general manager came to our table to be sure everything prepared for me would be safe.

I have celiac disease and ate here and had no issues at all. Not a ton of options, but they were able to provide me with a gluten free bun prepared in a separate pan.

When I looked up this menu online it looked like a dream! So many gluten free options….however, unfortunately this restaurant is not celiac safe as everything is cross contaminated. Also, on the online menu it stated the Cream of Crab soup was GF but the in person menu didn’t say that soup was GF and when I asked the waitress she was like oh it’s definitely not we use flour as a base. Just too risky to eat here….such a bummer.

Libbey’s has a great selection of gluten-free food, including pasta and quesadillas. It’s one of the few dock bar/restaurants in the area that has an extensive non-seafood options and of course it has the usual seafood options. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about cross-contamination issues and ensured that I had a safe meal. I have eaten there twice for lunch and have thoroughly enjoyed both meals and have had no negative gastro issues.
