Review of Lilit Cafe

I came here on July 8th all the way from Northern Virginia! When I first came in I was automatically asked if needed a gluten free menu! Wow - it's truly a gluten free restaurant.

Short Version

-delicious subs/sandwiches

-delicious desserts

-safe/no reaction

-dedicated facility

-worth the visit

-will come again....

Works are friendly, service was alright but who cares.



My cousin who is not gluten free -loved his Philly Steak sandwich/sub - so yay this place might be decent for gluten eaters.

I ordered an Italian Sub - it was the first time I ate an Italian Sub (I think the baguette was made by Rise Bakery, not 100%).



I really enjoyed their chocolate cheesecake and red velvet cupcake! OMG I love their red velvet cupcakes!!! It reminds me of the red velvet cupcake from Risotteria in NYC that closed down. I've been searching for a replacement!!! Oh yea and their cupcakes are 3 bucks, that is so cheap compared to other gluten free cupcakes I purchased. Great Value.

I would like to note that they also have like a market area as part of their restaurant, so they sell other gluten free products. I recommend exploring the area and their wine selection. They sell packaged products from Rise Bakery in DC's Adams Morgan.

I want to come back and order every meal to go, and just eat Lilit Cafe for months...I love gluten free subs...
