While visiting Siesta Key my husband and I ate at the Family-owned Lobster Pot THREE times in The Village. The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten and servers were not hesitant to double check with the chef. The fish is caught fresh and my entrees were cooked to perfection. Also, we learned that the French fries were cooked in their own deep fryer; they were cut like steak fries and were crispy golden on the outside and the insides cooked to a soft state.

waitress was knowledgeable and also double checked with the chef. had the grilled shrimp with cole slaw and veggies and it was delicious!!!
This restaurant was great! They didn't have a gluten free menu but the manager came out to talk with me and assured me that they would change their gloves and take all the correct precautions with my food. The waitress was also very good. I she check to make sure all sauces and sides were GF. She said she would make sure they did everything to keep my food safe. This is the best service I have ever had! As a celiac I highly recommend it! My meal was wonderful and I didn't get sick!
