The waiter warned me that the prep for the fries had changed and they are no longer free of cross contamination. They still have a dedicated fryer, but earlier on in the prep they are mixed with gluten containing foods. There is a note on the “gluten sensitive” menu to not get fries as a side. It sound like the fries used to be completely gluten free, so the waiter at first said they were but then hesitated saying changes had happened. He checked with the kitchen to verify that I should not order the fries. The waiter also told me that they can be sure anything in the place has no cc because they bake all their own bread in the kitchen. The only exception is the gluten free bun (in its own packaging). They do take precautions though to try and ensure no cross contamination in the kitchen.
The menu is not gluten-free, it’s labeled “gluten sensitive.”
