We are a family of 4 and my 12 y/o daughter has celiac. The food all around tasted great and our waitress was friendly. My daughter ordered shrimp cocktail, gluten-free penne pasta, and lobster tail. She said it all tasted great. We did experience an issue with cross contamination, however. At the bottom of her penne dish was a lone strand of spaghetti. After alerting the waitress (and after my daughter ate most of the pasta), we were told that the gf pasta was cooked in a separate clean pot, however, it seems that the kitchen used a common strainer when removing the pasta from the water and the strainer wasn’t clean. My daughter had an uncomfortable night as a result. The waitress was aware of the medical condition and we asked for guidance on other dishes throughout the meal. This was just a careless kitchen.
