I was able to easily find their gluten free menu online. It had a bigger list of options than I've found at most chain restaurants so that was nice. There was an incident where a cook accidentally put the wrong side on my plate but the manager immediately came over to apologize, took the plate away and made me a whole new plate. He was knowledgeable about celiac food safety and made absolutely sure that my food was safely prepared the second time. I got a NY strip steak and was able to get the parmesan crust without the breadcrumbs! I also love that the lobster and shrimp chowder is gluten free. It's DELICIOUS.
Manager very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free food preparation. Stated he managed a restaurant where one of the staff had celiac and learned from them. Came to our table and shared food prep they use to ensure gluten free. They do not have a dedicated fryer but many options are modified off their regular menu. I had salmon, rice pilaf and broccoli but also could have had other items such as steak, pork chops, lobster bisque soup. Would recommend.
I was very nervous going here but we're traveling on the road. We had a wonderful waitress who brought me the allergen menu and told me the asst mgr was the chef tonight and she would be very careful. I ordered a salad, no croutons, tossed in a clean bowl, with a steak and loaded baked potato. I am extremely sensitive and was fine! Food was delicious!
Update (2024): I’ve now eaten here far more often than any other restaurant anywhere since my celiac dx in 2016 and have not had any problems during this time. I would guess I’ve eaten here more than two dozen times by now, though it’s probably more than that. All servers I’ve had have known what celiac disease means when told and a couple of them have celiac sufferers in their own families. I’ve reliably had steaks, potatoes, and salads here, twice I’ve had a burger (no GF buns, though, so *sad face* for that) which was awesome, and the ribs both with and without BBQ sauce - all good. And I no longer feel any need to use my GliadinX capsules here. I feel safer eating here than anywhere else in Manchester or the surrounding area except for the 110 Grill. Even the takeout during the Covid period was safe. My three complaints: (1) No GF buns for burgers; (2) No GF desserts except plain vanilla ice cream; and (3) Not much of a choice of sides unless you pay more (seriously, $2.50 for a couple asparagus spears?).
(2017) I have celiac and have eaten here 3 times in the past year, latest Nov 15th. Each time, had steak (ribeye or sirloin), salad GF), and a veg or potato. Food was very good, service excellent, and never got glutened. Servers always seemed to understand what to do and orders have been correct each time.
