GF label at this bar means gluten friendly NOT gluten free. They will bake potato skins and nacho chips in a dedicated toaster and cook chicken separately to add to a salad, but other than that there is very little to choose from if you’re looking for an actual meal. There aren’t gluten free buns or bread for sandwiches or burgers. It’s a wonderful bar and lots of fun to hang out at with a great atmosphere. The drinks and bartenders are top notch - just plan on eating elsewhere if you’re hungry and have celiac disease.
I am a former foodie now reactive celiac, and eat where my body tells me i can. I'm sensitive to direct CC (breadcrumbs on the table/shared fryers) but not "flour in the air" levels of CC. I ordered here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. They have many options marked "gluten friendly" on the menu - i originally wanted wings (gf on the menu) but the young lady taking my order said that due to the shared fryer they can no longer consider those gluten free- though a bit disappointed i was grateful that she mentioned this rather than let me get sick. I ordered the nachos instead, which ended up being excellent "bar nachos" (as in, don't expect an authentic mexican experience- nobody claimed it was). Its been several hours since I happily ate so I can confirm they took my allergen concerns seriously. I would go here again.
