Incredible experience. The second I told waiter about my gluten allergy he knew the details about everything on the menu. It was a busy Friday night and he took the time to explain everything to me, as well as bringing me separate sauces. (Was eating with someone who ate gluten). They also informed me that anything on the menu that would typically have gluten, they will do their best to adjust the recipe to fit dietary needs, stating if I wanted to try something next time, I could let them know I was coming ahead of time and they would prepare it for me. While everything was incredible, I can’t recommend the empanadas enough, they use rice flower, and I’m telling you i haven’t had something that doughy and delicious in a long time. My mother (who eats gluten) and I agreed that they tasted like they had gluten, maybe even something better lol. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten, and one of the owners came over to let me know that a family member of his is celiac and he takes it very seriously. The food and cocktails are truly amazing and it’s one of my favorite places.

I have been there three times and each time I have been treated very well. Today I was told they have gluten free soy sauce for all recipes and can adjust most recipes to be gf except for anything breaded. Their food is always excellent.

This is a very fun restaurant with many unique options. They do not have a gluten free menu but many dishes can be prepared gluten free so it requires a lot of back and forth with the server. It was very busy and our server seemed irritated to have questions about GF dishes. It would make it so much easier to have the menu indicate GF. For that reason, I am giving it only 4 stars.

We had the calamari prepared gluten free and it was amazing. We also had two plates, one w a beef and another pork. Servings are beautiful and very flavorful.

The do have a dedicated gluten free fryer.

The non GF person in our party also had the chowder and clam cakes and would order it again.

Great food and atmosphere, would love to go back and try other dishes, just not sure about how to work through not having a GF menu.

Went to Los Andes for a birthday dinner, as the only Celiac in a party of 8. Although there is no "gluten free menu" per se, there are many things that "can be made" gluten free. Again, no indication on the menu itself and you will have to ask questions. Our server was excellent, she checked with the kitchen on all my requests and came back with a big smile and thumbs up for my entree. I had gluten free calamari as an appetizer, they were lightly dusted with cornmeal and delicious. For a main course I had the Paella and it was amazing! Noted that my husband ordered the same thing, but mine was brought out separately and our server said "this one is yours", so they definitely kept our orders straight. A day later and I'm feeling great so I'm going to give this one five stars. Great experience, excellent food and very attentive staff.

Delicious gluten free options, excellent service even on a busy evening. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, but also cheerfully went off to consult the chef in case there was a GF alternative he could use in a dish that my husband wanted to try.

We had the empanada filled with yucca and chs baked in rick flower in a banana leaf. The beef hearts for an app and then the jambalaya. I can't express enough how great it was to eat something full of flavor that was gluten free. . .

This restaurant is fabulous! We had the yucca and rice flour empanada. It was so good. For an entree, I had sirloin with cilantro mashed potato and corn (like street corn). So delicious. Our new favorite restaurant!

I love Los Andes. The food has always been amazing since they first opened their doors. I order the Pollo a Los Andes, comes with fries that have never made me sick. The cheese rice is an incredible side. They also have an incredible bar and fish tank that and outdoor patio that both transform the spaces that you dine in. RI is known for incredible family owned business and this is one of the bests.

Great place to go when you want to try something different. Amazing food! The waiters are so friendly and willing to help, they can prepare almost any dish GF or make modifications since everything is made fresh. The atmosphere can be a little chaotic and it's often very packed there

This place is absolutely phenomenal! While they do not have a dedicated gluten free menu it is authentic Peruvian food, so most of their menu is gluten free. If you are unsure, you can ask any of the wait staff. They are super knowledgeable, and are able to accommodate if something needs to be GF. They also will make sure the chef is aware of your allergy, to ensure it is prepared accordingly. I go all of the time and have never had an issue. Highly recommend!
