wow! this place was incredible! They had a gluten free menu and the server was so knowledgeable about gluten free. He recommended an appetizer and a meal that was gluten and was by far the best Thai food I have ever had. I wanted to go back every day we were there. if you are willing to take a 5 minute can ride you will not be disappointed by this good. I did not have any bad reactions either. Just make sure you make reservations

They now have a gf menu! Make sure to let the server know. I received the link to the gf menu & this great communication from them via Facebook messenger:

"Hi, I have attached the Gluten Sensitive menu. If your guest or yourself is diagnosed with Celiacs or a Thyroid disorder, I would recommend letting your server know. There will be a special button for the POS to the kitchen to exclude items that will irritate or cause harm. I hope this helps. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to send me a message. Thank you and have a wonderful day."

Made sure they new we had three people with celiac and they confirmed they got it. Our first dish, pad se yew was excellent. We ordered another one and it was a completely different color and taste. We figured out they mistakenly put soy sauce in the first one we ate. They acknowledged they had made a mistake on the first dish they served us and ended up not charging us for our dinner. Then, They proceeded to bring us free dessert since it was my daughters bday and said it was gluten free. Ended up with a platter of desserts including bananas covered with egg roll wrappers. Totally gluten. Ugh! We were so mad. If you are not celiac and can eat gluten, the food was excellent.

Lotus of Siam has always been our favorite Thai place, and a required stop every trip to Vegas. We were ecstatic to find out that they can do gluten free. My wife has had to change her diet and has skipped Thai food for the last year since there are too many ingredients to check on. As everyone knows, even one missed ingredient means a bad night. The staff at the Lotus of Siam were very helpful and knowledgeable. We heard another dinner order with egg restrictions and both times they were very helpful. There are no menu designations, so work with your server. The drunken noodles with fresh basil was fantastic. The shrimp salad had a sauce that tasted like soy, but was not, since this is a gluten no-no. The tail on shrimp was very fresh. Our third dish was the Currie chicken baked in a bowl with fresh cabbage and vegetables: heaven. You can order the dishes with a 1 to 10 hotness level. We are up to 8 and the heat comes with outstanding flavor. Be aware that unlike some Thai places, this is a true hot scale. I’ve had to take a knee for a dish at ‘9’. I can only think that a ‘10’ would make me spontaneously combust.
