Able to adapt the menu to make it GF. Unfortunately no Haggis, Sausage or Black pudding (sad times but they make alternatives)

The service was great, our server Jake asked about allergens up front and helped to explain which options could be made gluten free. We ordered the full breakfast and some items were replaced (no haggis, black pudding, or sausage - replaced with streaky bacon, cabbage and haloumi). It ended up being a combination of the vegetarian breakfast and the full, which was still really tasty. The vibes were very bright, fun and brunchy. Would definitely go again.

Great gluten free options, really tasty food. Would recommend booking we came as walk-ins and we're waiting for around 15 mins but was worth it!

I used to LOVE loudons for GF but since they expanded and cut their menu down the options are very limited. They used to have GF breakfast muffins for their eggs Benedict but now you get the tiniest piece of bread cut in half and they charge extra £2 just to have a normal amount of toast?

Really large number of options that can be done gluten free. However, the gluten free bread is *tiny*, and it’s especially notable if you’re with someone who’s eating a gluten-containing dish.

Menu is labelled very well for gluten, dairy etc.. they can prepare separately to avoid cross contamination. Good solid Scottish breakfast but incomplete as the haggis and potato scones can't be done gf.

very good breakfast. the menu has all the options that are gluten free and with all the options that can be adapted. I ordered the full breakfast and they adapted it for me, they added halloumi and more bacon for example. the only bad thing is that they charge £2 for gluten free bread. I have complained and finally they did not charge it.

Great gluten free (and vegetarian/vegan) breakfast options, we went back twice during our short Edinburgh stay!

Modern cafe with lots of space and options to prepare dishes gluten-free. Solid coffee/espresso and polite staff.
I got a gluten free salmon eggs benny' that was beautifully executed - great hollandaise, perfect poached eggs, high quality salmon, and a well composed salad. Unfortunately the GF bread was wanting - just a halved slice of standard GF toast. For the prices charged they can do better.

Brilliant food and service. I had the GF pancakes and they were the best Ive had since being diagnosed ceoliac. :-)

I always recommend this place to visitors looking for gluten free. Their GF pancakes are just amazing and the servers are knowledgeable about gluten free needs and are very accommodating. But seriously go try the pancakes!

Excellent - selection, service, and knowledge of anti-contamination practice in the kitchen. "Loudon Benny" had a better than decent house made gf bread base, not exactly an English muffin like an American would expect, but it had some toothiness and spring to it, no grit. And it held up impressively under the poached eggs and sauce. Had them pack up some gf pastries as take away for my afternoon tea - they included wee pots of jam in the bag with the scones.

The food was amazing and they did a great job accommodating for being Celiac. Pancakes were great!

The staff was both very knowledgeable and patient with my long list of allergies, and the kitchen was even happy to swap sauces out to make my meal dairy and citrus free. They have gluten free bread, scones, quiche and cakes. I wish I hadn’t already had sad eggs at my B&B, because they also had gluten free English muffins and little egg McMuffin-like sandwiches that sounded amazing. I got the vegetarian pakora sandwich on GF bread and it was quite tasty. It even came with an interesting beet and carrot slaw and really good potato wedges. My friend (who is not GF) said that her lamb sandwich was fantastic, so this place really should make all members of your party very happy. It’s just off the main drag and full of locals, which is always a great sign. Hoping to come back for their afternoon tea with GF options galore!
Yes
GF options but not terribly delicious. I got eggs benedict and found the muffin substitute pretty crumbly. Kind of in a corporate part of town. Very spacious. Lukewarm service. Good coffee though!
The waitress immediately asked if I‘ve got celiac deserve because I asked for gluten free options. Everything was delicious. Will definitely come back here to try some more of their menu.

Great gluten free, dairy free options, but also options for regular folk. Service and atmosphere great. This place seems to be quite popular, build in a little time to wait for a table. But once you are seated, service is fast, but not rushed.
This place worked very well for our extremely sensitive daughter and son who both have Celiac. Both kids had the kids banana chocolate pancakes and had no reaction. The pancakes were very delicious. I had one of the eggs benny dishes with a gluten free English muffin and it was very tasty. There were also delicious looking slices of gluten-free cake available. We were too full to try them but they looked spectacular. We would definitely go back!

Incredible pastries and delicious food.

I had the berry pancakes which are vegan as well. Dense but very good and filling. If you encounter a line, wait!! It's worth it and re line moves quickly. They also have gf baked goods but didn't try any
GF pancakes are awesome!!!
Great place! Relaxing and trendy atmosphere, delicious food, and very friendly waiters!

Excellent GF breakfast options. Nearly everything on the menu is GF, or can be modified to suit. Definite recommendation!
So yummy! They cook their GF foods separately and while they can't guarantee 100% safety they really go out of their way to ensure celiacs can eat comfortably. No reaction for me! I wish I had time to go back again. Great options at a good price.
